Young Person's Clinic (Adolescent)
Dr Jo Mannion is a general paediatrican with a particular interest in young people's health. Her clinic runs on Thursday afternoons (the last appointment is at 4.30pm). Referral to the clinic is via GP.
She sees young people with concerns about their weight (under or overweight) puberty or period problems, fatigue and chronic fatigue syndrome/ME, abdominal pain, irritable bowel, school refusal or medically unexplained symptoms.
She likes to see young people with heir parent or carer initially but also sees the young person on their own for part of the consultation to hear how the health problem is impacting on their life.
