There is a large multi-storey car park at York Hospital.
At peak times, this car park becomes very busy and may be full at some points during the day. Please begin your journey to the hospital with enough time to find a space. From Monday to Friday, the busiest periods are 10am-11am and 1pm-3pm.
Ticketless Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology is in operation, which makes it quicker and more simple to enter and exit the car park. Cameras will read your vehicle's number plate on arrival and exit.
Paying for parking
Payment can be made at the pay machines located in the multi-storey when you are leaving. The machines accept card (chip and pin and contactless) and cash. If you don't want to use the machines, you can also pay using the Trust parking app.

Blue Badge parking
Blue Badge parking is permitted free of charge. York Hospital has over 50 Blue Badge parking spaces for patients and visitors, mostly found in the Blue Badge car park at the main entrance of the hospital.
If there are no spaces available in this car park, please use the multi-storey car park, where you can also park for free.
To validate your free parking, please bring your badge to the car park and ID office (ground floor of the multi-storey car park) or York Hospital's main reception (if you are parked in the multi-storey car park).
