Join us at our 44th Regional NHS Carol Service

03 October 2023

Come and celebrate with us at our annual service of thanks for the NHS at York Minster. The event will include reflective readings, prayers, and plenty of Christmas carols to start the Christmas festivities.

This year, the much-loved concert takes place on Wednesday 29 November, and heralds the start of Christmas for many.  It features a choir of NHS staff from across the region and once again will be conducted by Dr Andrew Padmore in his 20th appearance.

Choirs and individuals from NHS trusts and organisations across the region are invited to join the NHS Christmas choir.  Although our Trust does not have a formal choir, if you would like to practice at home, or in teams at work, we would love to hear from you if you would like to take part.

For more information contact the communications team no later than Wednesday 20 September.  Please note, there is a rehearsal on the concert day from 1-3.30pm, and the concerts starts at 7.30pm.

Yellow weather warnings in our area

The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for ice and snow in our area. This is expected to affect routes to and from our hospital sites.

If you are attending for an appointment, please plan ahead. Check road closures, leave in plenty of time, and drive safely.
