Annual event to learn more about your local hospital

19 October 2022

Trust members and the general public are invited to find out more about their local hospitals by attending the Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM), incorporating the Annual General Meeting (AGM), of York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs hospital services and out of hospital care in York and North Yorkshire.

The online meeting takes place on Wednesday 2 November between 2.30pm and 4.00pm.

Alan Downey, Trust Chair, said: “We very much hope people can make time to join us for our virtual AGM and AMM.

“By holding the meeting online, we are hoping more people than ever can get involved.  You'll be able to find out more about the work of the Trust, our challenges and achievements during 2021/22 including our annual report and accounts, and hear about the Trust’s plans for the year ahead.  There will also be a chance to ask questions of the Trust’s leadership team.”

The AGM/AMM is open to all of the Trust’s members, staff and the general public.  The event offers everyone the opportunity to share their views with us and participate in learning more about the activities of the Trust.

The meeting can be joined from anywhere, on any device - PC, smartphone or tablet using a Chrome or Edge browser.

Copies of the Annual Report and Accounts will be available on the Trust website in due course.

Questions can be put to the Trust Board either ahead of the meeting or people can ask questions live during the AGM/AMM in the Q&A section of the agenda, or use the chat function on WebEx.  If you would like to submit a question in advance please email: cheryl.gaynor@york.nhs.uk
