Selby War Memorial Hospital update

On Friday, Selby War Memorial Hospital experienced a temporary loss of heating, hot water, and water due to a technical fault with a boiler.  The problems experienced have since been resolved and services to the site fully reinstated.

While the building was safe, to ensure we could continue to provide safe care and comfort for our inpatients, we safely relocated them to other community hospital sites, where they will remain.

Anyone with an appointment should continue to attend as planned, unless they have been contacted to rearrange, and the Urgent Treatment Centre is operating as normal.

Thank you to our staff who have worked incredibly hard to resolve the issues, and to our patients for their patience and understanding.
