Hi James. I have been with the Pump Clinicat York for 3 years and have been a patient of the team at York for 15 years in total. I now live in Durham but have not changed hospitals. You have nothing to worry about; the care at York is excellent. Mike Ward

Seconded. I've always felt very looked after by the whole team. Good luck with your appointment.

I agree completely with Aimee and Mike. I've had type 1 for nearly 50 years and for most of that time I've received care and support at York Hospital. My opinion of the diabetes team couldn't be higher. I'm sure your appointment will go well James - all the best - Gillian

Completely agree, I’ve been with the pump team for the last 5 years and the diabetes centre for the last 31 year and during that time I have only received first class care

The team at York Hospital is brilliant. The care I've received here has always been excellent -- possibly the best I've had since I became diabetic 27 years ago.

Hi James you have nothing to worry about, I to am a complex type 1 diabetic and have been looked after by the team for 49 years. All of the staff at york are brilliant, I can not fault the care and support they give me. Why not attend the pump get together on Monday evening and your worries will be put to rest. Janet

York Hospital Diabetes Team - great , very supportive.  Going on to my third pump shortly and their advice is always helpful, plus you can get hold of them easily and ask questions etc.  They never make you feel it's too much trouble...

Welcome to York James.  Sorry to hear about your experiences previously.  I can only reiterate the feelings already shared by many - great service, great people, great support.
