Special Precautions	Serotonin containing foods should be avoided the day before collection (bananas, walnuts, pineapples, tomatoes, plums, avocado). Sample must be sent to the laboratory ASAP after collection. Samples received after 2 hours from collection are not suitable for analysis. Fasting sample required.
