Clinical IndicationAntibodies against GABA B R can be detected in classical limbic encephalitis with early and prominent seizures. The GABA B R antibodies have been associated with small cell lung cancer in 50-60% of cases. The antibodies may be present together with other autoantibodies in around 50% of cases (antibodies against GAD-65, VGCC, and TPO).
