Additional NotesThis container type MUST be used for urine samples for microscopy, culture and sensitivity, including casts. Urine samples NOT sent in boric acid containers will be rejected. The boric acid in the container helps to maintain the microbiological quality of the specimen during transport to the lab. Urine samples <4ml may be rejected in boric acid container.
