LimitationsDo not measure within 24hrs of administration of Fluoroscein. Homogentisic Acid (Alkaptonuria) may lead to false results. Levodopa / Methyldopa and Calcium dobesilate may lead to falsely low result, Cefoxitin may cause artefactually high results. Analysis of urine samples containing immunoglobulin light chains (i.e. Bence-Jones Protein) may result in the underestimation of protein. Phenazopyridine may cause artificially low protein results at the therapeutic drug level
