Physiotherapy balance and vestibular rehabilitation service

The physiotherapy balance and vestibular rehabilitation service is based in the Balance Centre, Head and Neck Department, York Hospital.

The physiotherapists working in the Balance Centre provide specialised clinical assessment and management of patients with vestibular disorders .

The physiotherapists are involved in the one stop balance clinic working alongside audiologists and ENT consultants to provide comprehensive patient assessment and management.

The physiotherapists have extensive experience in vestibular rehabilitation techniques for patients with vestibular disorders and in the management of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.

Resident doctor strike action

Resident doctors will be taking strike action from 7am on 17 December to 7am on 22 December. Some appointments and procedures may be affected. If your appointment needs to be changed, we will contact you.
