How to save the Staff Benefits and Wellbeing section to your home screen
iPad or iPhone
- Launch “Safari” app.
- Enter into the address field the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to. Tap “Go.”
- Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the top of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu.
- Tap “Add to Home Screen.” The Add to Home dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.
- Enter the name for the shortcut using the on-screen keyboard and tap “Add.” Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPad’s desktop.
Android
- Launch “Chrome” app.
- Open this link.
- Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.
- You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
Becoming a Staff Benefits Champion doesn't come with any additional duties or responsibilities, all we ask is you forward any emails we send to your colleagues, team or department and help us spread the word!

Email yhs-tr.staffbenefits@nhs.net from your NHS email requesting to join -its that easy!
Please note you must have a valid NHS email address to join.
What type of things do we email to our Champions?
A variety of things all offered as part of your Staff Benefits package, we could be advertising a time limited offer from one of our partners (such as tickets for a show), an up an coming event (like our Summer Fairs and Christmas Markets), a competition or give away (such as a hotel stay or our calendar competition), a new or existing scheme or we could be advertising a new partner offering NHS discount.
How many emails do we send?
Don't worry, we wont fill your inbox with emails! We typically send around 3 -4 emails per month.
Can a department have more than one Staff Benefits Champion?
Absolutely! The more the merrier, if your department has multiple champions maybe decide who's responsible for forwarding emails so your team doesn't receive the same thing more than once. But we are happy to include anyone who wishes to be part of our mailing list, the only catch is you must have a valid NHS email to join.
