Work experience
Work experience (including taster days and work shadowing) is available for school, college, and sixth-form students aged 16 (Year 12) and over. We no longer offer one-week block work experience placements, and we are unable to offer any on-site work experience for students in Year 11 or under.

Sixth form project - medicine
Funded by The Friends of York Hospital, The Friends of St Monica's and The Friends of Selby War Memorial Hospital. Students in York and the surrounding areas can learn more about the roles of medical staff in the NHS. For further information, email stephanie.neale1@nhs.net.
