Annual reports and accounts

All NHS foundation trusts must publish annual reports and accounts to allow scrutiny of the year's operations and outcomes. You can read our recent and past reports on the annual reports and accounts page.

Cancer strategy 2025-2030

We are also investing in developing and supporting our skilled cancer workforce to ensure every patient receives the best possible experience.

End of Life Care strategy 2022-2025

The Trust’s overall mission is; ‘Start well, live well, age well’ for all that live in our localities. Building on aging well, our end of life strategy aims to ensure we live well until we die.

Green Plan 2024-2027

Our 2024-2027 Green Plan has been developed taking account of recent NHS guidance and targets.  Alternatively you can read a summary of our 2024-2027 Green Plan.

As a large, acute healthcare organisation, we are determined to deliver our contribution to national carbon reduction targets and broader sustainable development principles. We are committed to incorporating sustainability into all that we do to ensure that our services are fit for the needs of the future without compromising on the services we provide at present. This Green Plan sets ambitious targets and outlines the reductions in carbon emissions required to achieve our goals.

Patient Safety Incident Response

The Patient Safety Incident Response Policy 2023-25 document sets out the Trust's approach to developing and maintaining effective systems and processes for responding to patient safety incidents with the aim of learning and improving patient safety.

The Patient Safety Incident Response Plan 2023-25 document outlines how the Trust will implement requirements of the national Patient Safety Incident Response Framework as set out in the Patient Safety Incident Response Policy.

Research and Innovation strategy 2025-2028

Research and innovation is an integral part of our plans at the Trust.

Being research active brings lots of positives to our organisation; research active hospitals provide higher quality care, can attract commercial and non-commercial income, and support recruitment and retention across professions. The Trust is committed to the wider benefits which being engaged in research and innovation can bring to the health of the nation and the effective working of the NHS.
