Scarborough Hospital

Scarborough Hospital is the Trust’s second largest hospital.  It has an emergency department (A&E) and provides acute medical and surgical services, including trauma and intensive care services to the population and visitors to the East Coast.

You can view an internal map of Scarborough Hospital here.  If you arrive at the main reception, one of our staff will be more than happy to advise you on how to find the department or ward you are visiting.

Accessibility guides

Detailed access guides to facilities, wards and departments have been created to provide information for disabled people, regardless of impairment, when they come to hospital.

Scarborough Hospital’s accessibility guide (also available via the AccessAble App, which is free to download from the App Store and Google Play) can be used throughout the hospital visit.

Changing Places

A Changing Places toilet can be found at the Haworth Unit - Outpatients. See Haworth Unit on AccessAble.

Smoke free

The Trust is smoke-free.  Patients, visitors, and staff are not permitted to smoke anywhere on our hospital and community premises including the grounds and gardens.
