Clinical Indication | Autoantibodies to ovary (theca interna/granulosa) are detected with multiblock slides that also have adrenal and testis tissues as they form part of the group of steroid producing cell antibodies. Present in patients with either isolated primary ovarian failure or associated with other autoimmune endocrinopathies eg Hypoadrenalism, Insulin dependent diabetes, Pernicious anaemia. |
