Our services

Medical elective services

We provide a nurse led outpatient service to patients requiring a variety of treatments including

  • Blood transfusions, platelet transfusions
  • Venesections
  • All intravenous therapies: including :antibiotics, immunoglobulins, cytotoxics, bisphosphonates, biological therapy. Steroids, iron.

Appointments are given once a referral has been received from your referring Consultant, depending on the urgency, it should be between 2-8 weeks.

We are situated on the ground floor.

Unfortunately, parking on-site is limited, so we ask, where appropriate, that you use public transport or arrange for someone to bring and collect you for your appointment

Opening times

The Medical Elective Service department is open Monday to Friday 7:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday 7:00am to 3:00pm.
