I live with my dog & 2 lodgers close to Scarborough town centre & station. This is my home, not a house of multiple occupancy, so there is plenty of space & also peace. The room itself has an oak double bed (Warren Evans), chest of drawers, sturdy hanging rack & rail, armchair, mirror, standing lamp & new thermal roman blinds. It is at the top of the house so you get a great view & sunsets too. The large living room is usually free for lodgers as I have my own living room. There is one very large bathroom shared between 3 of us. The kitchen has a new range with 2 ovens. There is a tiny side room with desk that anyone is welcome to use & a back yard full of plants that is nice to sit out in. All bills are included. We have superfast fibre broadband. I take care of cleaning the communal spaces & keep recycled toilet paper & washing up liquid topped up. Sainsburys is only a few minutes walk over the road, even closer is a OneStop shop less than a minute away. Also a short walk away are doctor surgery, dentist (taking on new NHS patients!), bus stops & cafes. There is parking but on street - you just need to apply for a permit. I am quiet & tidy, don't drink, training to be a psychotherapist & also a poet. The other lodger is a stonemason. Room available 10th December (possibly sooner, from November 25th, if needed). No minimum or maximum period, I just ask for 1 month notice to terminate.
